Tel Aviv Heat in collaboration with The Sharks are pleased to announce the signing of fly half Jordan Chait on a short-term deal until 20th December 2021.
Jordan has been contracted to The Sharks since 2019 after starring for Maties (Stellenbosch University ) in The Varsity Cup.
He was nominated as one of the three “Backs that Rock” and scored 125 points which included 6 tries which made him the second highest points scorer ever behind Demetri Catrakilis, who will be one of his assistant coaches at Tel Aviv Heat.
Dr Eduard Coetzee the CEO of The Sharks said:
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Jordan to get much needed game time in Europe and this experience will certainly benefit him in the future.”
Jordan captained the SACS 1st XV in 2015, the oldest school in South Africa and went attended the prestigious WP Rugby Institute in Stellenbosch in 2016.
He represented WP at u18 level , Currie Cup u19 and u21 (two years winning it in 2017) and won the Varsity Cup in 2018 and 2019.
