Sebastiaan Jobb Brings World-Class Pace and Skill to The Tel Aviv Heat Backline

Baby Bok Sebastiaan Jobb has signed with the Tel Aviv Heat for the upcoming season.

Sebastiaan brings immense talent out wide to the backline of The Tel Aviv Heat. A player of incredible potential has already represented his country at both Junior age group as a Baby Bok, playing against Namibia’s senior team and also on the Sevens field as part of the SA Academy.

In addition to representing South Africa, Jobb has played representative rugby from a young age, helping to lead the Blue Bulls U19 Currie Cup team to a title in 2018 and then another title with the Bulls U21 Currie Cup team in 2020. In 2020 Sebastiaan was drafted into the SA Academy Sevens set up where he was ear-marked.

Sebastiaan has recently played for The Blue Bulls senior team this year and made his debut against Western Province in the Currie Cup.

Jobb has electric pace, a full set of skills with the ball, and at only 22 years old, is already an astute reader of the game.

Kevin Musikanth on Sebastiaan Jobb:

Sebastiaan is a very special rugby player. It is every young rugby player's dream to represent his country. In South Africa the young talent emerging from the schools is incredible, on par with young Brazilian soccer players. For Sebastiaan to have represented South Africa at the U20 level speaks volumes to his potential as well as his ability. We are extremely fortunate to have him in our squad. I am looking forward to what he is going to bring to the team and predict that he will light up the competition…

Sebastiaan Jobb on signing for The Tel Aviv Heat:

I am looking forward to getting onto the field with The Tel Aviv Heat. I am thankful for some much needed game time and this is a very unique team with great players. I can not wait to play with the team. I live by the motto I AM -- they are two powerful words, for what you put after them shapes your reality…
